What if I don’t know what my goals are? Can BrightUp help?
Yes, absolutely. Set up an account, and choose the goal that feels right for you, right now. Our coaches will help you dig down to understand your goals as well as some of the beliefs about money and self-worth that have you stuck.
What if I don’t know anything about money?
Not a problem. That’s why we’re here. We’re breaking it down as simply as possible and encourage you to ask questions if something doesn’t make sense. If some or all of this is new to you, you’re not alone. There are no dumb questions — and we’re delighted to answer all of them as many times as you need.
Can BrightUp help me if I have terrible credit?
Everyone starts somewhere. Our coaches will never shame you for any decisions, past, present, or future. Whether you utilize our Compassionate Capital to consolidate debt or other tools recommended by your Coach, we offer a safe space to learn and create a path to improve your credit and achieve your financial goals.
Can I change my membership plan after signing up?
Yes! We understand that the needs of organizations change. If you need to change your membership plan after you’ve created an account, simply reach out to sales@getbrightup.com. Most administrative changes to your account can be made within the BrightUp Dashboard you’ll have access to after signing up.
Can all of my employees benefit from BrightUp?
Yes. Whether they’re minimum wage workers or C-Suite employees, everyone has financial goals. BrightUp products are designed to help people achieve those goals, whether they’re paying off debt, building credit, saving money, investing, or something altogether different.
My employees work hard, but some have low credit — can they use BrightUp?
Yes. In addition to helping your employees get the knowledge they need and building healthy financial habits, we’re bringing an alternative approach to low-cost capital. We hate predatory lending practices and don’t want to see anyone forced into high-interest loans that just push them deeper into debt. Additionally, our educational content teaches effective practices to build credit.
Do my employees have to take out loans?
Absolutely not. We make capital available for employees who need a fair and affordable option. However, our platform is available to ANYONE on your team who wants personalized support.
What if I’m a community or government leader, can I offer BrightUp to my community members?
Most likely, yes! BrightUp is eager to partner with communities, organizations, and governments that care about their people. Please contact us to chat about what this might look like. We’d love to help you bring better financial health and personal well-being to your community.
What if I need to cancel my account?
If you are no longer able to offer BrightUp as a benefit, at the end of your paid membership term anyone associated with your organization will convert to an individual user on the BrightUp Seed Plan. They may lose access to some features, and you will no longer be able to log in to the Client Dashboard.
